RetireLoom is designed to let you explore retirement scenarios without creating an account or sending your financial assumptions to us. This policy explains how information is handled by the RetireLoom mobile application, this website, and our support service.
1. Information handled by the RetireLoom app
The current version of the RetireLoom app does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data with RetireLoom or third parties. The app does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking technology, or third-party sign-in.
Financial balances, ages, income assumptions, retirement scenarios, and other information you enter are stored locally on your device using Apple-provided storage. We cannot view or retrieve that information.
2. Information you choose to provide
If you contact support@retireloom.com, we receive the information included in your message, such as your email address, name, device or app details, and the contents of your request. Please do not send account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, tax documents, or other highly sensitive information.
Support correspondence is used only to respond to your request, maintain service quality, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. It is not sold or used for advertising.
3. Website information
RetireLoom does not intentionally use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this website. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information—such as an IP address, browser type, timestamps, and requested pages—to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and maintain reliability.
4. Retention and deletion
Scenario data remains on your device until you delete a scenario, reset the app’s data where that option is available, or uninstall the app. Because we do not receive this app data, no separate deletion request to RetireLoom is necessary.
Support emails are retained only as reasonably needed to resolve the request, document the response, maintain security, or comply with law. You may ask us to delete support correspondence by emailing us, subject to any information we must retain for legal or security purposes.
5. Data sharing and service providers
We may use service providers to host this website and operate email. They may process limited information only to provide those services and are expected to protect it appropriately. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
6. Children’s privacy
RetireLoom is intended for adults planning for retirement and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards for information we receive, but no email or internet service can guarantee absolute security. Website and support information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as RetireLoom evolves. The revised policy will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. If the app begins collecting data or adds third-party services, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before or when those practices change.
9. Contact
